Abstract: In order to get the optimization combination of radial distortion, tangential distortion and non-square pixel correction, to improve the aerial measuring precision of image points, we studied the effect of different combination of distortion parameters on the measurement accuracy of image points. The aerial survey was conducted by three types of shots on the North Campus of Liaoning Technical University. Finally we use the Virtuozo AAT-PATB software to test the precision of survey results on several typical combinations. The results show that the distortion parameters comprehensively can greatly improve the accuracy of aerial survey results as far as possible, when conditions is well. When the condition is limited, the combination of K1 and K2 model can eliminate the influence of most lens distortion, and improve the accuracy of the results. The research results can provide reference for other UAV aerial missions.
