Abstract: Bridge is an important part of transport network. At present, China's engineering construction is developing rapidly, with an endless stream of large span bridges, bridge engineering quality level proposed new requirements. In this paper, establishing efficient finite element model for large span steel truss bridge construction monitoring using the finite element method. Deducing steel truss bridge deflection changes in working conditions of off the shelf through theoretical analysis and model calculations. The results show that the model can preferably predict steel truss beam deflection changes on the natural conditions, meet the actual variation, and thus greatly help to ensure construction safety.
