Abstract:

Fushun city is a comprehensive heavy industry city, thrived on coal. The coal mining led to an issue about the wide range of land subsidence. For this problem,in order to monitor the land subsidence of Fushun city effectively, the paper used small baseline subset (SBAS) technique to process the 12 COSMO-SkyMed high resolution SAR images which covered most area of Fushun city, and the scope and the rate of land subsidence were successfully achieved. The result shows that:The study area showed the tendency of subsidence as a whole, the rate of land subsidence most in the range of -25 mm/a to -45 mm/a.Of which, the most serious region is Xinfu county. There are two region subsided seriously, and the maximum subsidence rate reached -186 mm/a.The results provide beneficial data reference for the land subsidence caused by the mining of Fushun open-pit mines and the monitor of geologic hazard.

Key words: Fushun open-pit mine, small baseline subset (SBAS), land subsidence
