Extraction of Desertification Land Information in the Northwest Area of Liaoning Province Using Modified Vegetation Coverage Inversion Model

Abstract:

Taking the northwest of Liaoning Province as the study area,from June of 2017 Landsat-8 OLI images as the basic data source, we introduce the object oriented multi-scale segmentation technique,combined with the use of the water index,residential index,vegetation index,shape index of two value logic method to extract information of land desertification.Based on the combination of two order sampling and remote sensing image structure,a modified vegetation coverage inversion model is constructed to realize the classification and extraction of desertification land information.The results show that this method can eliminate the disturbance information and realize the automatic and accurate extraction of the information of the desertification land.
