Simulation of Urban Growth Boundary by the Way of Irregular Neighborhood CA:A Case Study of Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone

Abstract: Based on the data of land use data and remote sensing data from 2003 to 2012,this paper uses the street as the research scale to develop the elastic boundary and rigid boundary of urban expansion through the irregular neighborhood CA and the ecological suitability evaluation method.The following results were obtained:①The Kappa coefficient is 0.875.8 based on the irregular neighborhood CA model,and the simulation accuracy is required.②The area of the elastic boundary in the study was 230.54.km2,rigid boundary was 260.09.km2,and the area changed significantly.③The construction land shows a trend of expansion from the southeast to the northwest,and the coastal street is more significant than the inland street expansion.
