Abstract: In the process of establishing the ocean geodesic control network, the positioning of the seafloor control point is usually determined by using the combined way of GNSS/acoustic. In this paper, the influence factors of GNSS/acoustic system positioning accuracy are discussed in detail, such as dynamic positioning of ship borne GNSS, surveying ship track and the numbers of measurement points, underwater acoustic positioning and the performance transponder arrays. Then the simulation experiments are designed for quantitative validation. The experiment simulates the control points in the form of a circular array. The GNSS measured data on the sea and the simulated underwater range data are used to analyze the positioning performance of the system under the impact of three main factors. Results show, the error influences can be weakened and more accurate positioning results can be obtained through the following ways:the improve of dynamic positioning accuracy of ship borne GNSS, the appropriate increase of measurement points numbers or observation amounts and the reasonable design of transponder array configurations.

Key words: GNSS/acoustic system, dynamic precise point positioning, surveying ship track, acoustic positioning, transponder arrays
