Abstract: The integration of BIM and GIS, realizing information sharing and interoperability between them, has opened up a new way of multi-dimensional application of data in different fields, and has become one of the hotspots of current research. Taking typical BIM data (RVT) as an example, this paper presents a method of BIM-GIS data integration and visualization based on multi-resolution hierarchical model. On the basis of inheriting BIM geometry, appearance and semantics information, the method of continuous multi-resolution hierarchical model is adopted to realize the lightweight of BIM-GIS and enhance the real-time rendering of large-scale BIM-GIS scene. The efficiency of the model is improved, and the building, HAVC and pipeline RVT models are taken as an example.
