Research and application of big data information platform for geological disaster monitoring

Abstract: This study mainly focuses on resolutions to geographical disasters monitoring. In the current project, navigation satellite receivers and multi-source sensors are applied, which include functional units such as choke ring antenna, GNSS receiver, MEMS sensors, environmental measurement units, lighting protection areas units, and other relevant units. Big data information platforms are also built. On the basis of these efforts, a highly automated monitoring has been realized, especially with all-directional monitoring. Following the steps of building big data platforms for geographical disasters monitoring, dealing with fundamental techniques to the platforms, making softwares to be able to detect data, we have completed the early warning application network system HCmonitor for GNSS real-time monitoring. With the application of various methods, the disaster monitoring system has been improved. The project has provided new ideas and practical solutions to the early warning work, which have been applied and promoted to the post-disaster reconstruction in Zhouqu, Gansu province.
