Color balancing method of DPGrid-Ortho and its application in aerial orthoimages generation

Abstract

Abstract: As an important procedure in the aerial image processing, the color balancing provides a solid foundation for generating ortho-mosaic images with consistent color tones and good overall visual effects. This paper first reviews the numerous scholar researches of color balancing, and then introduces an auto-adapting global-to-local color balancing method used in the DPGrid-Ortho software. Finally, the effectiveness of this method is verified by real datasat.
