Design of teaching contents for introduction to remote sensing under large category cultivation mode

Abstract: The large category cultivation is becoming an important trend for the talent cultivation reform in Chinese universities. As one of the six main curriculums in the large category of resources and environments in Wuhan university, it is urgently necessary to construct thorough teaching contents of introduction to remote sensing by considering the specific characteristics of different disciplines comprehensively. In this paper, the teaching contents of the remote sensing courses adopted in various universities in China are investigated,and their characteristics are analyzed. By integrating the content, the structure, the logic and the practice, it proposes four principles for the design of the teaching contents of introduction to remote sensing. Based on that, the comprehensive teaching contents are constructed, through stringing the data acquiring-processing-application link together.
