Abstract: "Education and Training Program for Excellent Engineers of Surveying and Mapping" is an important task of strategic importance in the reform and development of higher education in the "National Medium and Long-term Educational Reform and Development Plan". In this paper, grasping the key elements of talent training mode innovation as breakthrough point, we innovate a set of industry-oriented surveying and mapping engineering professional talents training system, build up the talent cultivation mode of "high engineering quality and strong practical ability", improve the professional course system, strengthen the construction of teachers, strengthening the multi-practice teaching, construct innovative practice platform, and focus on improving the students' engineering awareness, engineering quality and engineering practice ability.
