Abstract: The rapid development of new technologies has constantly changed the application scenarios and patterns of planning information. The urban planning needs to carry out informatization reform in many aspects, such as working modes, technical means and organization methods, in order to meet the requirements of urbanization transformation. Combined with the informatization practices of Guangzhou in the overall planning, this study discussed about the intelligent planning and analyzed the impacts of big data on the planning methods. An information synergy solution of spatio-temporal information aggregation, real-time convergence and smart sharing mechanism was proposed. This solution attributed to the vertical and horizontal cooperation among planners and departments, the close connection of different levels of planning and the collection of multi-source and multi-stage working results, which further contributed to the construction of resource pool of planning information.
