Design and Implementation of Building Seismic Hazard Risk Information Platform Based on Map World

Abstract: Using the Application programming Interface techniques and seismic hazard risk assessment models, a building seismic hazard risk information platform has been developed with Ningbo city as an example. The platform could carry on much information query such as seismic grades of all buildings and shelters, and also estimate building damage degrees under different seismic intensity. Moreover, building financial loss and casualties can be estimated from the platform, as well as the illustration of seismic popular science. The estimated seismic hazard risk information system could provide more visual and accurate decision-making information to help reducing the building damage and casualties during the earthquake.
