Design and realization of tourism GIS system based on mobile AR+VR

Abstract: With the development of technologies such as cloud computing, Internet of things, mobile communications and mobile Internet, developing an intelligent, multidimensional and comprehensive tourism management information system has become a trend in tourism informatization. In this thesis, taking the “Badaguan” in Qingdao as an example,using the integration of tracking registration technology based on location and multi-sensor, tile map technology, 3D landscape maps technology and virtual reality superposition technology of mobile augmented reality system, a tourism-oriented mobile, informational, intelligent and personalized smart travel service system is studied and realized. This system provides a new perspective for tourists to recognize the surrounding landscapes and to obtain a new interactive experience. The system includes functional modules such as 3D landscape map, virtual tour, route navigation, environment identification, historical building inquiry, thermodynamic diagram, friend footprint, personal track, WeChat sharing, etc. Tourists can get more intelligent and convenient services while enjoying the journey.
