Abstract:

Restoration is one of the most effective methods for ecological restoration in abandoned mining area. The flooding stress caused by surface subsidence will have an important impact on the normal growth of vegetation in the mining area, and then will affect the ecological restoration effect of the whole mining area.In order to obtain the information of waterlogging region and ecological restoration forest which have been affected by the waterlogging stress in the Datong abandoned mining area, the waterlogging area, and the tree species of restoration forest as well as the area are extracted using WorldView-3 combining with field surveying data. The results indicated that the total affected area is 31 570 m2.The affected area of the Populus adenopoda is 11 930 m2,accounting for 37.8% of the total affected area.According to the field verification, all the Populus adenopoda are damaged by flooding stress in the surface seepage area. The research result could provide reference for the eco-environment monitoring work in the abandoned coal mine.
