Research on Representation Method of Important Geographic Information on Public Map

Abstract

Abstract: The representation of important geographic information on public map is related to national security,territorial integrity and national dignity,which has serious political nature,rigorous scientific nature and strict legality.This paper summarized the basic principles of the representation of important geographic information on public map,classified important geographic information into four categories:geographic information related to national territory,geographic information related to national boundaries,important geographic information data and public safety facilities information.Then,it researched and analyzed representation method of some important geographical information which is easy to make mistakes from each category.Finally,the author put forward representation method of important geographic on public map for reference.
