Abstract: In order to study the influence of the layout of image control points in the complex area of survey and delimitation on the accuracy of real scene modeling and whether the modeling can meet the requirements of measurement accuracy, according to the actual situation that the buildings in the survey area are dense in the west and sparse in the east, five image control point layout schemes are designed for image acquisition and three-dimensional modeling, and the accuracy of the models made by each scheme is compared and analyzed from three aspects: plane accuracy, elevation accuracy and side length accuracy. The results show that the survey area models made by the five layout schemes can meet the accuracy requirements in plane accuracy, elevation accuracy and side length accuracy; On the basis of edge layout, appropriately increasing the number of image control points in dense areas such as buildings can improve the accuracy of the model. This study can provide a guiding scheme for the layout of image control points in complex areas.
