Abstract: In order to study the effect of fractional differential under different sampling intervals on the correlation coefficient between spectral reflectance and soil heavy metal content, the soil spectrum are resampled at 15, 25, 35 and 45 nm intervals, and then the corresponding 0~2 order (interval 0.2 order) differential processing is performed to compare and analyze the variation trend of correlation coefficient between each order differential and the soil heavy metal at various sampling intervals. The results show that when the differential order increases, the number of bands having a significant correlation level of 0.01 generally increases first and then decreases and the effect of improving the correlation by 15 nm resampling interval is better than the other three sampling intervals. And the absolute values of correlation coefficients of 15, 25, 35 and 45 nm reach the maximum in 1.6, 1.2, 2 and 2 orders respectively.
