Research on Geographic Information Professional Capacity Building in New Era

Abstract

Abstract: Geographic information professional capacity building is of vital importance to industry development in the field.Based on national geographic vacation system,this paper concludes that capacity building is actively demanded while the rapid vocational growth of geographic information industry.This paper builds geographic information professions working context frame and competency model with the conclusions that service consciousness,information process analysis,Comprehensive knowledge application and research management are important to capacity building in the field.Capacity building approaches are also advised in the end.
